Fifty-Three Percent

CSTE projects that over 2100 more epidemiologists are needed to meet the current needs of state and territorial health departments.   That is 53% more than work today! This does not account for the needs of local and tribal health departments.

A strong, and growing applied epidemiology workforce is critical to the future of public health.

The CSTE Foundation is proud to support CSTE and work to raise funds to support critical workforce development programs like the Applied Epidemiology Fellowship, Data Science Team Training, the Jeffrey P. Davis Scholarship for students, and more.

Through the end of the year, your donation is matched thanks to the CSTE Foundation Board of Directors.

The CSTE Foundation is an independent non-profit organization created to support the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists in their efforts to develop, expand, and diversify the epidemiology workforce. 85%  of your donation directly supports critical programming needs. The Foundation is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The first $10,000 of donations received will be matched dollar for dollar.
